The Background

In Pakistan, more than 50% of women are unable to read. This makes it hard for them to comprehend the Nikahnama,

or marriage contract. As a result, many women enter marriage without fully knowing their rights, putting their financial future at risk.

The Idea

easypaisa transformed the traditional written marriage contract into an accessible audio format. This allows women to listen and understand the terms of their marriage contract, enabling them to make informed decisions.

The Execution

To access the Audio Nikahnama, women could simply call a toll-free helpline, or download an app. The marriage contract's clauses can be listened to in 7 different languages, providing accessibility and understanding for a diverse range of users.
